The Millersville wrestling team, under first-year head coach Todd Roberts, is off to an impressive start, totaling seven place-winners in three opens and posting a 2-0 dual record on the young season. The Marauders look to continue that success Saturday at the 66th Annual Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Wrestling Championships.

The Millersville men's basketball team fought an uphill battle all night, but never got to the summit, as its comeback bid fell short in a 70-65 loss to Elizabethtown on Wednesday night at Pucillo Gymnasium.

Millersville head baseball coach Jon Shehan announced the signing of four athletes for the 2010 recruiting class. Included in the group is pitcher David Baker, pitcher/outfielder Walter Bishop, pitcher Jason Long and pitcher Chris Whitman.

With a 67-45 victory over visiting University of the Sciences last Monday evening, the Lady Marauders improved to 4-0 for the second consecutive season and pushed their regular season winning streak to 17 games. This weekend, the ladies travel to West Chester for the 23rd annual West Chester University Alumni Classic and will take on Lincoln University and Chestnut Hill College. Millersville has never lost to Lincoln in five tries and will look to take the first ever meeting with Chestnut Hill.

The 2008 season was the most productive of their four year careers and Millersville men's soccer seniors Sean McLaughlin and Matt Procopio were rewarded Wednesday by being named Daktronics NCAA Division II Honorable Mention All-America.
