Facilitation Team:
Team Leader: Jay Gassaway has been active in project management for over 30 years. He started his project management career on the design, construction and testing of two nuclear generating stations and has remained in the power industry. His responsibilities have included engineering, testing, scheduling, cost and project control.
Jay has been a Project Management Institute (PMI) member since 1992. He earned his PMP Certification in 1993. He joined the Delaware Valley Chapter in 1996 and has been an active member of the Education Committee since then. He currently teaches courses at the Foundations, Certification Preparation and Masters' Certificate levels at three area universities and in Beijing, China. Clients include Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, Verizon and the General Services Administration.
Team members: The instructors are a group of seasoned professionals in both project management and project management instruction. Each has already earned the PMP designation and has from 10 to over 30 years of project experience. As a group, their background covers all traditional and cutting edge disciplines within the profession and their personal knowledge and insight produces a program that prepares the student for the challenges of project work and (is they so choose) the rigors of the PMP Certification Exam.
