Citamard is a student-run theatre organization that is committed to reminding all of us that theatre is FUN! We hold monthly meetings in Dutcher Hall and it is open to anyone on campus - not just theatre options. We do a lot of fun activities including the ever-popular Writer's Theatre, Improv, the always-sold-out Citamard One-Acts, and other fundraisers, trips, activities, workshops, and events. This year, Citamard is looking forward to expanding: starting new activities and continuing old favorites. We want to do what you want to do. So come to our meetings and bring your friends. Student Showcase
Citamard is looking for students interested in directing one-act plays for their annual student showcase. What is student showcase?   It is a night of completely student run performances of one-act plays. It allows students to exercise creativity and explore areas of theatre they may not have tried before, without the pressures of a professional show.  Are you interested?  Then pick up an application in Dutcher Hall, fill it out and turn it in with a copy of your play by October 2nd.

University Theatre 10-Minute Play Competition
University Theatre has announced their 3nd Annual 10-Minute Play Writing Competition.   The rules are simple: The play must be complete in and of itself (not a fragment of a longer play) and the estimated performance time for the play should be no more then ten minutes…The rest is up to you!!  Deadline for submissions is November 30, 2007  First prize is $50 cash and two $25 rewards for the runners up.
