Improve my performance
Time ManagementThe advisers in the Office of Academic Advisement can offer assistance in time management. Effective time management means getting things done that need to be done when they need to be done, setting priorities, being flexible, and balancing your activities. By developing a well-thought-out daily and weekly plan, you are more likely to maintain control, keep up with assignments, and effectively prepare for papers and exams. Among other things, your adviser can help you develop a weekly schedule on which you block out your classes, other fixed activities, as well as time for individual and group study, meals, etc. An important aspect of planning is reviewing your ability to follow the plan; the advisers in Academic Advisement are willing and able to help you conduct a comprehensive review of your plan and progress and to make any necessary adjustments. Remember, "...the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry." We're here to help. |
