EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAM
Take the 30 Minute Challenge!!
The Employee Wellness Team challenges you to participate in 30 minutes of activity three times a week in Phase One. There are three months in each Phase. After the initial phase you should set your own goal (i.e. increase to 40 minutes 3 days a week). The American Heart Association recommends at least 30 minutes of exercise on most days of the week. More vigorous aerobic activities such as brisk walking, running, swimming, bicycling and jumping rope – done three to four times a week for 30-60 minutes – are best for improving the fitness of you heart and lungs. The Employee Wellness Team encourages you to see your doctor before beginning a new exercise program.
