Women's Center Mission

The mission of the Women's Center is to create a supportive climate that encourages the professional and personal growth of women.  The Women's Center is a student run organization devoted to providing a place where women and men can gather to discuss gender issues and can interact with a diverse group of campus women:  students, staff, administrators,  and faculty members.  Opportunities for empowerement can be explored through books, videos, newsletters, and programs on issues that effect the lives of women of every race, class, age and lifestyle.

What are women's issues?

Women's issues are important at Millersville University. The Women's Center promotes women's concerns, perspectives and empowerment. Women and men of all ages, races and lifestyles are welcome. Women's issues are everybody's business! Some specific women's issues that the center discusses are as follows:
