Millersville University Police Department Hires New Deputy Chief
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. —The Millersville University Police Department recently hired a new deputy police chief. Anthony Floyd of Philadelphia, Pa., has his associate’s degree in science from central Philadelphia, a bachelor’s in management from Chestnut Hill College of Philadelphia and he is a master of science candidate at Wilmington University. He also attended the Northwestern University School of Police Staff where he was president of the 174th class.
Floyd has 20 years of experience under his belt at the Philadelphia police department where he retired as a lieutenant commander. Floyd came to Millersville University to fulfill his goal to interact with students - higher education in particular. “I felt that this job was an open gateway to a rewarding career and experience.” Floyd resides in Middletown, Delaware.
