Faculty Evaluations
Regularly Scheduled Evaluations
The Office of the Provost conducts and administers regularly scheduled faculty evaluations.
- evaluations are conducted every fall and spring
- the faculty questionnaires and opcan sheets are distributed to the students and are returned to the Office of the Provost
- the opcan sheets are processed at Boyer Computer Center
- the results are sent to the Office of the Provost for distribution to: the faculty member's Dean, the faculty member's Department Chair, and the faculty member
- these results are retained as Millersville University's historical data
- all questions regarding the rules and regulations which govern faculty evaluations should be directed to the Office of the Provost
Optional Evaluations
At any time, a faculty member may request to have an optional evaluation for feedback purposes. The results from these optional evaluations are only sent to the requesting faculty member, are not kept as part of Millersville University's historical data, and do not become a part of the faculty member's record. All requests for optional evaluations must come through the Office of the Provost.
