HOSTETTER RECORDS 16TH CONSECUTIVE WIN; MARAUDER WRESTLERS LOSE TWO

Feb. 9 – Jarrett Hostetter (jr. Oxford, Pa./Oxford HS) recorded his 16 th consecutive win at 157 pounds as the Millersville University wrestling team lost to two red-hot squads in a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Gymnasium.

Hostetter, who improved his record to 30-6, first beat Army's Christian Snook 7-2 as the Marauders fell to the Black Knights 32-7. Dave Morey (fr. Glen Mills, Pa. /Garnet Valley HS) recorded a 10-2 major decision at 165 pounds to account for the Marauders' only other points.

Army (10-3) bumped its winning streak to eight before losing to Delaware Valley College (14-4) in the second match at the tri-meet. The Aggies then defeated Millersville 29-12 to bump their winning streak to eight matches.

Hostetter recorded his 30 th victory of the season by winning a 6-3 decision. Jeremy Brooks (so. Jersey Shore , Pa. /Jersey Shore HS) won a 6-3 decision at 174 pounds and Ray Bennett (fr. Clarks Summitt, Pa. /Abington Heights HS) won a forfeit at 197 pounds.

The Marauders (3-11-1) return to action Fri., Feb. 15 at Princeton .
