Education programs are the heart and the heritage of Millersville University. The small institute founded in 1855, the first to prepare Pennsylvania’s teachers, has become Millersville University, and the School of Education houses today’s dynamic programs.  

Today the School of Education offers multiple programs in six departments not only in teacher preparation and in the preparation of other school personnel, but in other critical needs disciplines as well.
