Wellness 175 cannot be repeated for additional credit.
    Academic Dishonesty: Students are expected and encouraged to familiarize themselves with and abide by all students’ conduct regulations found in the Student Code of Conduct, Student Handbook, and other university publications.  Academic dishonesty may result in failure of the course.

    Strategic Goals: The Wellness course (WELL 175) “assures a student-centered environment emphasizing holistic learning experiences,” fulfilling one of Millersville University’s strategic goals.  The Department of Wellness and Sport Sciences is dedicated to scheduling forty-two Wellness (WELL 175) classes to satisfy the general education requirement.

    Course Description: This course offers a comprehensive discussion of the dimensions of wellness including such topics as physical fitness, nutrition, psychological and spiritual well-being, stress management, AIDS and STD prevention, addictive behaviors, and chronic diseases.  The course also includes useful and practical advice for adopting a wellness lifestyle that takes into account individual interests, goals and life situations.
