For Master's and Certification (post-baccalaureate and post-masters) applicants:

There are six components to the graduate or certification application for Millersville University. The six components are listed below along with their linked electronic forms (where appropriate).

  1. Application for Admission (PDF format) - Official application form for admission into Millersville University Graduate Studies. Applicants to all programs use this application form.
  2. Recommendation for Admission (PDF format) - Three (3) letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes, preferably from a supervisor or faculty member familiar with your work and academic background are required with application for admission.
  3. Academic and Professional Goals Statement (PDF format) - A signed academic and professional goals statement (approximately 300 words) is required with application for admission. Your statement should include experiences which have influenced your decision to pursue post-baccalaureate studies and a self-assessment of your potential for advanced study and service in your chosen field.
  4. Official scores from the appropriate standardized test required by your intended academic discipline (MAT, GRE, GMAT). Certification applicants are not required to submit MAT, GRE or GMAT scores.
  5. One (1) official transcript of baccalaureate and graduate work completed at all colleges or universities you have attended.  Transcripts must bear the official institutional seal and be contained in a sealed institutional envelope .  Millersville University graduates need not request a transcript.
  6. Application fee of $40.00.

    *** International Graduate Applicants: Please read the international applicant Welcome Letter and Guidelines and submit a completed Source of Funds report in addition to the six items listed above.

Application Timelines and Program Information

While most graduate programs offer rolling admissions (no official deadline), several program have one or more application deadlines; February 1 for admission beginning in summer/fall; June 1 for admission beginning in fall (on space available basis); and October 1 for admission beginning in winter/spring.
