Interested candidates may enter the program in any of three ways:
Begin as a freshman Biology/Respiratory Therapy major at Millersville University. As a junior, apply for a seat in the professional class that begins in late August of each year.
Transfer from another curriculum at Millersville or any other college or university as an undergraduate, and then complete the prerequisite course work to become eligible.
Complete a baccalaureate degree at Millersville or any other college or university, and then apply to Millersville University as a graduate student.
Graduates who have had one course each in physics, microbiology, and mathematics, and one year each of biology, chemistry, and anatomy & physiology, are considered qualified to fill vacant seats in the event that there aren't enough qualified candidates from the undergraduate ranks. These graduates do not earn an additional degree through the program. (See What if I already have a 4-year degree?)
